Title: Help understanding manufacturing
Post by: Ravi on May 04, 2026, 05:52 PM
I'm a 19-year-old from Gurugram, really into business, industry analysis and value-chain studies. I get how most businesses start, but I'm clueless about how people set up manufacturing. If anyone here runs a factory or is a manufacturer, please get in touch - I'm excited to learn about the on-ground reality of setting up a plant.

My questions are:

1. How does a stakeholder research an industry before deciding to produce?
2. How can one learn the specific steps and procedures for making a particular product?
3. How does a manufacturer's company structure differ from a tertiary-sector business?

If possible, I'd love to visit a plant just to gain knowledge and experience.

Thanks!

This isn't the right subreddit for this question.
