My qualifications: Just passed Class 12
I'm scared of picking the wrong college.
I keep hearing stuff from counsellors and seeing glossy brochures, but deep down it feels a lot of it could be misleading. I've heard some people say the reality of their college was totally different from what they were promised - placements, faculty, campus life, everything.
So I wanted to ask:
- Did you regret your college choice?
- Were you misled by counsellors or marketing?
- What's something you wish you knew before joining?
Right now, I don't know how to find *real and honest* information about colleges - like the actual curriculum, teaching quality, and opportunities.
If you were in my shoes again, what would you do differently to avoid a bad decision?
I really don't want to mess up something this important, so any genuine advice or experience would mean a lot.
Please edit your post: mention your stream (science, commerce, etc.), the major you want to specialise in, your fee budget, and the state you're looking at, etc.
Yes, I do regret it.
