Title: Should anyone take 8 drops for NEET?
Post by: Naveen on May 02, 2026, 12:46 AM
I was a NEET aspirant back then and took a drop but couldn't clear it. Thank God I was a PCMB student, got a NIT and now I'm settled. By the way, what's your take on this? Is it really worth taking 8 drops for one exam?

I personally wouldn't trust a doctor to do a check‑up on me if they had taken 8 drops for NEET.

No one should take 8 drops - that's horrible.

Maximum two attempts are fine, bhai. 8 drops!!!! When you solve PYQs, it must feel nostalgic.

That's a sunk‑cost fallacy.

His life, his choice. Why can't these people mind their own business? Probably there's some condition, but we keep judging them.

In that time you could get an engineering degree twice.

I don't think I have a say in anyone's life. It's their life, their choice, so why would I interfere?

I think people should just move on in life. A maximum of two attempts is enough! I only got a 99 percentile in JEE after a lot of hard work. I cleared it in my first try, and I won't take a drop – I'll just move forward. I don't want my teenage years ruined by such exams.
