Dude this is probably some startup
But is it too much to ask for a sick leave when we need it?
My morning is like this: I wake up feeling all set to go, then I ping my manager saying I wont be able to make it to work today, and then I just chill with a drink
The thing is, we cant just take leaves or have career breaks whenever we want, it feels like they dont consider us as human beings, I mean who can work non stop for like 60 to 80 years, it is all so frustrating, like we are being punished for being born, the older generation and the millennials have set some really wrong expectations and policies at the workplace, how do they expect us to work normally when everything is going wrong, no wonder people are facing mental health issues and burnout
It seems like the rules were made when everyone was in a different state of mind
You shouldnt be afraid to speak out against them
We are a country that relies heavily on manual labor but we dont have any proper labor safety laws
Company loyalty is a thing of the past, just earn as much as you can from the company while your health allows it, and if things get too tough, just switch to another company
Do we need to inform HR before we can take a sick leave?
Just inform HR every day that you will be sick the next day, and then cancel it if you are feeling better, problem solved
