Since Toxic got postponed, Varun Dhawan's Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai has moved back to its earlier slot. The movie has already faced several date changes because of clashes, which shows how unpredictable the box-office calendar has become these days.

We're likely to see Toxic only in early 2027. They can't slot it in July because Evil Dead, Odyssey and Spider-Man are slated. August brings Batwara 1947 and Matrabhoomi, and September has Hollywood's Coyote vs Acme and Insidious, so screens will be tight for Toxic.
October sees Drishyam 3 (Hindi) plus Street Fighter and Clayface from Hollywood, again cutting screen space. In November, Ramayan Part 1 releases, so a clash there is unlikely.
December turns into a bloodbath with two big hitters - Dune 3 and Avengers: Doomsday - and nobody would want to go head-to-head with them.
So they can't realistically release this year unless they're ready for a clash. For a solo launch, they'll have to push it to next year.
