Just convinced my parents for CAT prep as the whole form‑filling process is going to be expensive.
I'm aiming for CAT 2027 and CGL 2026.
I score around 100‑110 in tier‑1 CGL mocks and I'm a complete beginner at CAT.
A study partner would help because I'm a bit exhausted and scared to start this new preparation.
By study partner I mean we can study together in Yeolpumta and share resources and any study‑related help.
Don't worry, no chitchat – I have no energy for that.
Unfortunately I don't have anyone in my circle preparing for CAT or who has taken CAT before, so I just want an accountability partner to survive this phase.
If you're interested, please respond. Thanks.

Anyone, please reply.
Most folks here don't do CAT, so it'll be difficult to find a study buddy for it.
Yaar, I'm doing double prep – CAT and CGL – but the patterns are different except for maths. Maths in CAT has time‑consuming questions. I have some CAT resources on Telegram, let me know if you need them. Right now I'm focusing on CGL. I also have a group of 30‑40 people for focus sessions, we're online 24/7 on Meet.
Don't sit idle, CAT is much tougher than CGL and needs a totally different approach.
You missed mentioning F, so finding a partner now will be tough.
Taking a drop just for CAT isn't useful if you're not doing a job or internship. It's better to focus on one thing. CAT works best when you're in your final year.
Don't try to do both.
You can't train for a 100 m sprint and a marathon at the same time.
With the new sectional timings you'll just confuse your brain.
You could share this on the CAT subreddit; preparing for both exams together isn't a good idea, in my opinion.
I'm also thinking of doing both, but this year I'll focus on CAT.
Bhai, I'm also considering doing CAT preparation alongside, and this post came at the right time.
