Don't forget RC in RRR - the hair flowing in the Komuram Bheemudo song looked just like an anime hero.

Even in those cheesy TV serials they do it - at least give credit to the director for his filmmaking skills instead of all that over-the-top silliness.

Rajamouli definitely uses hair movement to make his characters look divine or superhuman. I think this shot makes Tammanah look amazing - it was even in the Baahubali 1 trailer:
