I'm planning to get engaged soon and I'm really confused between two options:
Option 1:
She is very beautiful and comes from a financially stronger family than ours (our lifestyles are pretty similar). She belongs to my mother's side. The problem is my father isn't very supportive of this match. She has completed FSc.
Option 2:
She is average‑looking, maybe a bit below average. She belongs to my father's side, and my mother may have some resistance, but it's not a big issue. She is the younger sister of a girl I regret not getting engaged to earlier. Back then my father gave me the choice, but I wasn't ready, so I said no. Now she's already married (nikkah done) and I keep thinking she might have been the best choice. This second girl has completed matric.
I'm really confused about what to do and how to decide between them.
Definitely go with option 1. Don't choose option 2 just because you missed the older sister – that's not fair to either of them or to you.
