Title: Toners for extremely oily skin
Post by: Tanuja on Apr 25, 2026, 06:37 AM
Like the title says, moisturisers make my skin super greasy so I avoid them. I've been using Conscious Chemist Milk Protein and Ceramide 1 and they work fine, but I'm keen to try something new. My skin is so oily that people think I'm sweating even when I'm not.

Try the Isntree Fresh Green Tea Toner - it's really lightweight, helps control sebum a bit, feels soothing and gives enough hydration for oily skin. You can pick it up for around ₹800 or less.

How does that milky-toner feel on the skin?

You could also check out Minimalist PHA Toner, Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner, or Isntree Ultra Low-Molecular Toner.

Rose water from The Nature's Way or Wishcare works well too.

I tried the Tony Moly Ceramide Toner and, not sure if it's the only one, but it gave a big drop in facial oil.

I get that moisturiser is a no-go for you, but have you tried Plum's Rice-Water Gel? It's the only thing that works for my super oily skin in this humid climate.

BOJ Ginseng Essence is another option.

Isntree Green Tea will always be my GOAT. If you want an alternative, COSRX Propolis is also good.
