Title: UPSC Chair
Post by: Simran on Mar 12, 2026, 08:48 PM
this person has really messed up the lives of deserving candidates. she gives out 155/275 as a good score while other chairs have been way more lenient. 11 marks can make all the difference between getting into the IRS or not. her deviation is going up to the high 40s. this is just not fair

it all depends on her mood, you know. she has no shame in giving such a huge marks gap. it's like she's high on power and doing whatever she wants. i got 154 from anuradha prasad. would have easily made it to the IFS with 190. but now i'm out of the list. these people will keep corrupting the system and even after retirement, they'll take sadistic pleasure in ruining others' lives

doesn't the commission think they need to normalize the scores? it's so unfair, there's no standard procedure and they're just doing whatever they want

she was my chairperson last year for the capf 2024 personal interview held in may 2025. not surprising i got one of the lowest marks in my interview. i'm not blaming my entire performance on her, though - i was unprepared for the interview, it was just a day after the pre exam

you should file a court complaint against this board. you have a strong numerical case if her deviation is going beyond 40. it's just not possible without unfair marking since every board gets students from randomized categories, genders, mains score
