Title: Running late, money issues, feeling lost
Post by: Nath on Apr 21, 2026, 06:19 AM
My qualifications – 2025 BA graduate from a no‑name university.

I've realised I just don't have enough time. I'm not doing well financially and my parents can't afford my education right now. I started an internship from scratch that paid me a bare minimum – 5k per month, but I had to pause it because of health issues (still not fully recovered).

I already took a gap year because I was lost and had no clue where to go. Now I finally know I want to get into photography and video editing, but time is running out. I planned to learn VFX and had an institute in mind. I also started saving for it, but about 90% of my savings went into health expenses.

I'm 22, have no stable career, and can't afford to waste another year saving for the fee. I need to be enrolled by the end of this year.

Try finding part‑time freelance work first, not some big fancy institute. There are tons of free YouTube courses for photography, video and basic VFX. Even low‑paid gigs help you build a portfolio and bring in some income. I'm 25 and still piecing together random jobs – everything moves slowly when money is tight and jobs are scarce.
