Title: 6‑month acne journey
Post by: Hema on Apr 18, 2026, 06:59 AM
When it comes to skin, I was pretty lucky - never had a single pimple in my 29 years. Then one day I decided to shave my face and, boom, acne showed up. My confidence took a hit. Earlier I used to wonder why people with acne worried so much, since they still looked fine. Now I get their pain. After trying a bunch of things I stuck to a simple routine and cut out everything with silicones. I'm using Cosrx snail mucin, SoonJung intense barrier repair cream, and SoonJung sunscreen. After about 4-5 months I added Anua niacinamide for the marks and it's working. All my products are Korean now and they really work for me.

You could get these results without using any Korean products.

Shaving can cause an immediate infection; I doubt silicone had anything to do with it.

No dermatologist consultation? That's impressive for six months - I'd expect most people to spend time hunting for the right product. Great progress!
