It has been a very tough last few months in the Indian markets - a real roller coaster ride. The portfolio till 1 month ago showed an unrealised loss of minus 50 Lacs and now, as on 17 April, it's +7 Lacs. Amazing recovery overall. I kept investing during the painful periods. When there was blood on the streets I kept buying good stocks and collecting mutual fund units. Now the recovery has been very sharp across the whole portfolio. When the bull market starts it will skyrocket. The moral of the story is simple - keep invested during the bear phase to enjoy gains in the bull phase.
