Standing up there at that altitude, scribbling a few heartfelt lines felt surreal. Seeing it get stamped and mailed from such a remote spot made it even more special. Anyone else had this experience?

I haven't mailed a postcard from a place like this, but it must be a unique experience.
Yup, I did it.
Can you send one to me? Haha.
In 2026, when everything is an Instagram story, sending a real postcard from the top of the world feels so grounding. It's the ultimate Main Character move. I still have the one I mailed to myself stuck on my fridge, covered in Hikkim postmarks. How many did you end up sending?
I did, and it reached my address in Mysore quickly! But many friends who mailed theirs to Dehradun or Delhi never got them.
I mailed one from Chitkul back in 1992. Yeah, I'm old.
Yes, twice.
One in 2022.
Another in 2024.
Got the card at home both times!
7 out of 9 postcards reached their destinations!
I sent it to my friends and to myself.
One of my friends mailed me one, but it never arrived.
