Title: Upgraded after 8 yrs
Post by: Ujjwal on Apr 09, 2026, 08:52 AM
Could've lasted another 5 years if I lowered my expectations xD.

I know many will say I should've gone for something else in this price range with a better processor and higher benchmark scores. I used to think the same.

But I'm kinda done chasing numbers now.

My mindset changed after using my mom's CMF phone for a day. On paper it's nothing special, just average hardware. But in real use it felt smooth, consistent, and reliable.

That made me realise that optimisation and overall experience matter way more than raw performance. I don't need the fastest chip if the phone already does everything I need without lag or frustration. Most of my daily tasks don't push limits anyway. It feels like the right balance for me.

Nothing OS – just a clean, smooth experience. Everything feels snappy and well‑optimised, and the UI feels tactile, not just fast. Haptics are good, tight, precise and satisfying enough that even typing feels better.

It's not perfect, but it's easily one of the most polished and consistent Android experiences I've used. This is what made the phone worth it for me.

I love Nothing. I'm using the CMF 2 Pro right now—absolutely zero complaints.

That's what I call a true upgrade.

bro, the Poco F1 was a crazy phone back then. I had it for 6 years and wouldn't have replaced it if it hadn't just died on me for no reason and was beyond repair. I've flashed who‑knows‑how‑many custom ROMs on it, but I'm sure that wasn't why it died.

I would never have moved on from my Poco F1 if it hadn't died. It was fantastic in every way.

The legendary Poco F1—I'm still using it, have replaced the battery twice, and it's probably the best value‑for‑money phone ever launched. Thinking of upgrading to the Vivo X300 in a month.

I also had a Poco F1. Bought it just a day before lockdown, used it for over three years, and then switched to an iPhone 13 after landing my first job.
