Hey folks, finally something good to share.
I cleared the 2024 UPPSC exam and got the Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax/State GST) post.
A quick shout‑out to this community – the late‑night rants, shared resources and collective struggle really helped me.
Now that I'm out of the exam cycle, I'm happy to help fellow aspirants.
If you have any queries about State PCS vs UPSC, interview prep or overall strategy, just drop a comment. Happy to help.
Thanks
Wow, that's great! I'm also gearing up for my state PSC – Maharashtra MPSC – next year, aiming for the same post. Congrats!
Are you also planning to appear for UPSC next year, or do the new transfer rules keep you in the state?
What's the salary like and when do you start?
Congrats, OP!
Hey OP! Congrats!
Was this your first try? How did you prep the Hindi section? How did you balance time between the state‑specific part and the national part?
Besides strategy, how did you handle uncertainty and off‑days?
Thanks in advance!
What should a UPSC aspirant keep in mind while also preparing for UPPSC?
Please don't indulge in corruption, brother. That's my request.
Hey OP, were you working while preparing?
Hello OP!
Congrats.
I'm prepping for UPSC Prelims this year and also plan to write UP‑PCS. Honestly, I haven't done any dedicated UP‑PCS prep, just glance at Prelims PYQs while studying core subjects. How much time does dedicated UP‑PCS preparation usually take and how can one manage it?
I'll screenshot some replies since they answer my questions, as I'm also attempting UPPCS for the first time this year.
Bro, can you clear the mains in two months? HCS gives only two months for mains.
What's your age, bro?
