I really need to get rid of these acne scars. I tried putting toothpaste on them for a while, but it ended up burning my skin. Now I want to get back to a proper skincare routine without breaking the bank. I was thinking of grabbing some samples from Smÿtten or Sephora and testing what works. Please help, girl! My pocket and my face are both burnt ????

Where are you from? I have a few samples and minis I could send you if you're interested. Just be careful not to experiment too much, as it can damage your skin and be hard to fix.
Stick to affordable brands like Simple or Minimalist. Minimalist even has a budget line called Underrated; I've heard their moisturizer is decent, though I'm not 100% sure. I use their hyaluronic acid and it works great for me.
Since you have oily skin, you could try something like this:
Cleanser: Cleansme, Simple, Joy PH
If you need extra help every other night: Acnestar, Rejuglow, Saslic DS, Ethiglow, Ahaglow (also good for exfoliation)
Hydration: Hyalugel Plus
Active: Aziderm 10, Ezanic 10
Treatment creams: Niamax D, Clearz Plus, Kojitin Ultra Emulgel, Kozimax Skin Cream, Kojivit Ultra Gel
Moisturiser: Zitmoist, Acmist Gel, Excela, Aqua Soft, Acne OC, Sebamed, Moisturex Hydra Gel, Acnemoist, Moimax OC or any of these (https://www.reddit.com/r/IndianSkincareAddicts/comments/1m05xpd/comment/n36yvy0/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
Sunscreen: UV Doux, Acne UV, Blynds, Reequil Ultra Dry (double cleanse with micellar water if you use silicone‑based sunscreens).
Consistency and patience are key for good skin. For scar treatment you can try Minimalist Tranexamic and Alpha Arbutin – they're reasonably priced and a bottle usually lasts well over 45 days.
First, understand your skin type and make some lifestyle changes – poor sleep, stress, pollution, and junk food can all mess up your skin. Keep your routine simple: a gentle cleanser, a good moisturizer, and sunscreen. Choose treatment products based on what you need. You don't have to rely on serums; pharma‑grade gel creams are usually cheaper and work just as well.
Check out FaceDecor on YouTube. She constantly shares super cheap pharmacy products that actually work.
Grab the Joy PH 5.5 face wash combo pack for around ₹240 on Flipkart. Keep an eye out for it.
Give Underrated a try. It's cheap and their serum worked for me a while back.
Hey, try Vilvah's face serum and face wash powder – they've done wonders for me, reducing my spots and marks by about 80% now.
