After losing his mother as a toddler and having a dad who wasn't supportive of wrestling, Panipat's greco‑roman wrestler Lalit, who later lost his father in 2023, found a new family on the mat. At 23, Lalit stunned everyone by beating the 2025 Worlds medallist in Bishkek.
