That's exactly the situation for 99.99% of retail traders. Once in a while they nail a trade and think they've mastered the game.

The only edge retail investors have over the big players is that they can survive 10%+ drawdowns for a long time and stay in the market. In every other respect they lose, and most retail 'traders' don't even use that advantage.

The easiest win is to stop playing the game, especially when it's being openly manipulated.

Bhai, my only upgrade this year is a new broker. At least the flat ₹10 brokerage means no extra tax on losses. We lost in the market, but saved a bit of dignity with the broker.
