Title: Is it a good time to quit with one job offer and hope for more
Post by: Jyoti.kumar on Mar 08, 2026, 03:12 PM
I've got a job offer and they're willing to wait for 90 days, do you think it's a good idea to resign now and expect more offers to come my way, I've been working for 8 years and my tech stack is Reactjs and Golang

Most companies won't wait for 90 days for you to serve out your notice period, so if the new job is paying well, you should definitely think about resigning and moving on, how much of a salary hike are you looking at, if you don't mind sharing

If you're really looking for a change, then yeah, it's a good time to resign, you can use the 90 days to prepare and get even more offers, not many companies are willing to wait that long these days, but if you're happy with your current job and just wanted to see what's out there, you can always wait
