I'm being reactionary, but the captaincy was a disaster... they bring in spinners when they're not needed and leave them out when they are. And the batting – don't even start me on that.
Gill gets unnecessary criticism for being picked over Rutu in T20s, but the real problem lies elsewhere. As for the rest of the batters, only Sarfaraz, Prashant and Overton showed any fight; the others looked clueless.
The captain is doing everything except captaincy, the keeper is doing everything except keeping, the bowlers are doing everything except bowling (except Khaleel), and the batters are doing everything except batting (except Sarfaraz).
RCB have beaten CSK four times in a row – a first in IPL history.

What a monster hitting from David today! It was almost the perfect launchpad for him, and he's really sharpened his game against spin. He gave us nearly 100 runs in the last five overs.

21‑14, thank you Flem!

Tim David, man – the guy is an absolute monster.
No wonder Gill and Sai get higher priority in Indian squads.
Watching this RCB side gives us fans an immense sense of pride. It feels like finally getting generational returns from a stock that kept draining us for 17 years. The joy after decades of pain is just euphoric!
I didn't expect CSK to cross 200, yet some of the lower‑order batters did show a fight! The batting can still be salvaged, but the bowlers were just pathetic.
