I was sure Sameer was the first uncapped player, but Rutu proved me wrong.
The most shocking and impressive part is that Sameer Rizvi is only 22. The maturity he shows is incredible, plus he's got a high intent, a 160+ strike rate and a fantastic average.
Is that from the stretch when Sehwag scored five consecutive 50+ scores?
Also, if I recall correctly, Rutu made two ducks in his first three games and then hit three back‑to‑back match‑winning fifties... right?
Sehwag in IPL 2012 when he hit five half‑centuries in a row.
Koach in IPL 2016—needs no explanation.
Ruturaj in IPL 2020, back when he was uncapped, and Thala said the youngsters weren't showing 'spark'.
Gill missed one in between against CSK. He had two centuries against SRH & RCB before CSK and then a 129 against MI. Could have been four POTMs in a row.
Selfish. He should have gotten out for a duck in between to stop hogging the spotlight.
Well, you can't count two seasons together.
