Title: NEET dropper wants career switch – need advice
Post by: Alok on Apr 04, 2026, 03:44 PM
I took two drops for NEET. Last year I scored 370, then I attempted a second drop but now I don't think I can crack the exam. I don't want MBBS anymore; I know it's too late to realise that I don't want to be a doctor. I'm thinking of doing B.Sc. Psychology and preparing for bank PO at the same time. Is that a good idea? Please suggest, I really need help. My qualifications: 10th – 92%, 12th – 82%.

Preparing for PO is a good idea.

How do you decide when to quit? I'm from a PCM background and switching to NEET after a two‑year gap. I can't decide if it's a good choice.

I'm also a second dropper, just turned 21 last week, and I'm thinking of leaving this preparation. I'm considering either SSC CGL or bank PO. Your 10th and 12th marks are good; you could even go for an MBA, but PO is a solid option—you can pursue an MBA after PO with some work experience.

Consider a physiotherapy course.
