I started preparing only last year, missed the NICL and SBI prelims, then gave my best in these three exams and got selected.
I did it while working a full-time job, so if you're worried about preparing alongside a job, go for it. Things start falling into place after a while. Earlier I was preparing for the Air Force but kept hitting the conference stage. Finally, with God's grace, I've DONE IT.
If you were in my shoes and just starting preparation now, what would be your first steps and how would you move forward? Your guidance would be much appreciated.
Can you DM me? I have a few questions.
How did you prepare for GA?
Congrats! Did you join NICL AO, or will you join later?
How can I increase my speed?
How did you prepare for mains quant and what's your strategy for GA?
What was your strategy for CA - did you study daily, weekly or monthly? How did you revise it? From whom did you get banking awareness? For mains quant and reasoning, where did you practice and which teachers did you follow? Which mock test did you take? Any special tip for English?
How many hours did you study each day? And how did you prepare for GA?
What was your job?
I had to give up my defence dream, also appeared for CAT and only cleared the baby IIMs, so I decided not to join. Hopefully I'll clear banking exams like you this year.
